Ολοκληρώνονται οι εργασίες κατασκευής της παιδικής χαράς, ειδικά σχεδιασμένης για ΑΜΕΑ, στην οδό Αθηνάς στην Αρτέμιδα. Στα πλαίσια ανάπλασης 6 παιδικών χαρών του Δήμου συμπεριλαμβάνεται και αυτή της Αρτέμιδας, όπου θα μπορεί να εξυπηρετεί με ασφάλεια, παιδιά με κινητικά προβλήματα.

Μεγάλο πρόβλημα αντιμετωπίζουν οι μαθητές του τμήματος Δ2 του 3ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Γέρακα, αφού δεν υπάρχει μόνιμος εκπαιδευτικός για το τμήμα και οι δάσκαλοι εναλλάσσονται. Αποτέλεσμα όλου αυτού είναι οι μαθητές να μην μπορούν να προσαρμοστούν στις συχνές αλλαγές εκπαιδευτικών.
